AsiaInfo Services 01-03-2002 China's Foreign Trade Exports See Ups and Downs CHINA, Jan 03, 2002 (AsiaPort via COMTEX) -- According to forecast, the growth rate of China's foreign trade exports won't be less than 5 per cent this year. Statistics show that during the first quarter of this year, the foreign trade exports of China reached USD59.27 billion, up 14.7 per cent compared to that of the same period last year. However, in June, the foreign trade exports dropped 0.6 per cent year-on-year, signaling this year's first monthly negative growth. Experts say that foreign trade exports is one of the 3 major factors contributing to the growth of China's state economy.
