AsiaInfo Services 04-03-2002 LG Air Conditioners Sell at 198 Yuan Beijing, Apr 03, 2002 (AsiaPort via COMTEX) -- It was reported that the price of LG air conditioner decreased to 198 yuan, the lowest price since its birth, which attracted lots of people to buy the LG air conditioners. Dazhong Applicances Company also advertised the Changhong, Chunlan, Guqiao, Kelon and Yuehua wall air conditioners all sold at 888 yuan.
Li Juntao, general manager of Guomei (a large appliance company of China) said low prices lay in new management measures.
