AsiaInfo Services 04-16-2002 Microsoft Sells New Version of PDA Software China, Apr 16, 2002 (AsiaPort via COMTEX) -- Microsoft displayed its new versionof PDA software on Tuesday, intending to circle more territoryin the world's biggest market for wireless communication. The new version of software, entitled Pocket PC 2002, combinedtogether the operational system, users' interface and utilitysoftware package and used Big 5 Chinese widely used in MainlandChina.
According to a statement by Microsoft, at least nine PDAproducers from home and abroad, Cingular, Sprint, Verizon,VoiceStream, Acer, Legend, for example, agreed to apply thesoftware to their products.
