AsiaInfo Services 04-23-2002 China Unicom to Integrate Paging Market Overall GUANGZHOU, Apr 23, 2002 (AsiaPort via COMTEX) -- AsiaPort - China Motion, the giant in Chinese paging market announced to quit from this market. Its announcements says that its users will be switched to Guangdong Unicom Paging. It is known that this time Motion just quits from Guangdong market and it will quit the markets all over the country. Motion is once the biggest paging company in China.
Its paging service has ever had as much as 2.5 million users with annual profit over 100 million Yuan. However, from the end of 1990s, as the mobile phone developed rapidly, Motion's paging service shank quickly. Now it just has 0.4 million users in Guangdong province. It is revealed that...
