AsiaInfo Services 06-27-2002 China Mobile Will Build Western Loop Transmission System CHINA, Jun 27, 2002 (AsiaPort via COMTEX) -- Lately, China Mobile would started up the first term project of the western loop transmission system of transprovincial optical transport network. According to the introduction, on June 4, 2002, ZTE won the bid of Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) engineering of western loop transmission system of China Mobile Corp.
Western loop is the third national trunk line of China Mobile Corp. after northeast loop and eastern loop. It was the first time to select domestic manufacturer to build its DWDM backbone transmission network.
