AsiaInfo Services 07-08-2002 China Unicom Signs A JV Memo with Korean SK Telecom BEIJING, Jul 08, 2002 (AsiaPort via COMTEX) -- China Unicom, one of the two mainmobile communication carrier in China signed a cooperationmemorandum with Korean SK Telecom Co. Ltd about jointly setting upa wireless Internet service business in China.
This is the fourthcooperation between the two companies after the contract oftechnology and operation collaboration in February 2000, thecooperation agreement of CDMA in March 2001 and the insultingcontract of CDMA network design in June 2001.
