AsiaInfo Services 11-22-2002 Data Roaming, Fuse of Market BEIJING, Nov 22, 2002 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China Mobile signed agreement on bilateral GPRS roaming between China and America with AT&T Wireless on November 18. This agreement will come into effect on December 5, 2002. Chinese telecom expertise predicates that China Mobile has agreements of automatically and international voice roam with more than 200 telecom carriers worldwide.
Most subscribers of China Mobile are high-end users that take voice roaming as a must, but the demand for data roaming is still uncertain.
