AsiaInfo Services 12-30-2002 China Mobile Begins to Provide Discounted Mobiles SHENZHEN, Dec 30, 2002 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- After China Unicom announced its series of subsidizing policies, China Mobile, the world's largest mobile telecom operator, has begun to provide mobile subsidizing policies for the high-end users.
With these resorts, China Mobile intends attract consumers to use its high-end business and to strengthen its competition with China Unicom. At present, China Mobile has started to provide discounted mobiles for Shenzhen residents. These mobiles are priced at less than one third of the market retail prices.
