SEAGATE'S NEW HARD DISK PLANT IN WUXI KICKED OFF

AsiaInfo Services 01-08-2003 Seagate's New Hard Disk Plant in Wuxi Kicked off WUXI, Jan 08, 2003 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Seagate extended it hard disk plant in Wuxi City of Jiangsu Province with US$ 150 million. Now, this plant has been put into operation. An executive of Seagate says that Asia-Pacific is very important to Seagate's growing for its better investment environment, government's policy support, and advantages over talents.

And the plant will be useful for Seagate's global businesses. The extended plant has a construction area of 35,000 square meters, with ten hard disk product lines.
