AsiaInfo Services 01-29-2003 Foreign Bank Card Can Draw Renminbi Cash in Beijing BEIJING, Jan 29, 2003 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Yesterday, China UnionPay, VISA and Master announced at the same time that Beijing would put into operation a new banking business: foreign bank card drawing Renminbi cash from ATMs.
All the ATMs of commercial banks in Beijing can provide this business. The ATMs of other banks will be able to provide the business by the end of this year. It is said that all the member banks of the 3 sides will be upgraded for this business. Currently, all the state-owned banks, joint-stock banks and city commercial banks in Beijing are the member banks of the 3 sides.
