AsiaInfo Services 02-05-2003 Yahoo China Pushes Yahoo! Messenger Version 5.5 CHINA, Feb 05, 2003 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Yahoo China pushes the Yahoo! Messenger 5.5 version that with new functions of interactive impressions, instant video, and chatting background etc. Interactive impressions of Messenger 5.5 are used instead of typing.
The instant video can transfer 20 frames per second. Still, users can change freely the chatting background by clicking the load button. The new version Messenger supports Windows, MacOs, Unix, Linux, PalmOs, WinCE. It also has Java versions used for IE Explorer, and WAP version for mobile phones.
