GOME PREPARES TO LIST IN HONG KONG

AsiaInfo Services 03-07-2003 Gome Prepares to List in Hong Kong BEIJING, Mar 07, 2003 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Deputy General Manager of Gome Electric Zhang Zhiming noted on March 3 that Gome will go for listing in Hong Kong early next year and preparations for listing are in proper process.
It was rumored that Gome would be listed for trading in SEHK early this year. Zhang said that Gome will seek public listing directly in Hong Kong instead of shell reactivation as rumored. Prior to Gome, Eagle Group, the parent company of Gome, has get indirectly listed in Hong Kong by holding controlling shares of Hong Kong Capital Automation Co. Ltd.
