AsiaInfo Services 03-11-2003 Intel to Push Centrino Chips of Notebook Computers CHINA, Mar 11, 2003 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Intel will push Centrino chips used for notebook computers in mainland China on March 12, 2002. Now Intel is looking for partners from PC vendors to boosting the Centrino. An exec of Intel says it had contacted with many notebook computer vendors after announce of pushing Centrino in last year.
As the leading company in the notebook computer market, Legend is also in the Intel's invitation list. Intel negotiates with Legend for many times, but Legend is not interested enough in Centrino.
