AsiaInfo Services 03-28-2003 Surf Internet in Tea Bars BEIJING, Mar 28, 2003 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China Netcom has offered new service of wireless Internet in tea bars in Beijing. On March 24, China Netcom held demonstrations of wireless access to Internet in a tea base near Capital Gymnasium in Beijing. This tea bar is the first one installed with China Netcom's wireless local area networks in Beijing.

Its customers can enjoy wireless Internet while drinking coffee through notebook computers. The wireless Internet services in tea house provided by China Netcom make local residents possible to go online, which used to be offered only at business center.
