AsiaInfo Services 04-25-2003 SAMF Making Horizontal Tails for Boeing SHANGHAI, Apr 25, 2003 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Factory (SAMF) has completed and handed over 300 sets of horizontal tails for Boeing 737-NG, becoming the largest Boeing horizontal tail manufacturer in Asia-Pacific. Apart from Boeing's orders on 1,500 sets horizontal tails, SAMF is also in talks with Bombardier Inc.
on making complete feeder planes and components for Bombardier on OEM basis. SAMF expects to start production of components for ARJ21 feeder plane under China's private label end this year.
