AsiaInfo Services 06-12-2003 HP Breaking into Home PC Market with Low Prices BEIJING, Jun 12, 2003 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- On June 5, HP China rolled out six home PC products and one multi-function printer (MFP) priced lower than RMB one thousand. Initialed by the moves, HP announced its long-term market strategy towards Chinese customers.

It will use low-price tactics as a marketing tool in an effort to build up its leading position in China's home PC market in coming two or three years.
