This event was widely noted in almost all the front pages of Beijing's local newspapers.
It is said that an executive of Beijing Hyundai declared proudly that such a growth has been never seen in history of China's car industry. The first Beijing Sonata rolled off on December 23, 2002. Up till June 17th, it took Beijing Hyundai less than 6 months to manufacture 20,000 car of this model.
