AsiaInfo Services 08-12-2003 china unicom ltd.[(chu)] Network Operators Should Pay CHINA, Aug 12, 2003 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Last month, the Ministry of Information Industry asked opinions and suggestions about accounting system of interconnections between China's major telecom carriers.
Wang Jianzhou, chairman of China Unicom answered back that the way of accounting per costs is suitable, but the fixed line network operators should bear settlement fees with mobile communications carriers. Now, there is no settlement between mobile communications networks in mainland China and fixed line networks have not to pay settlement fees to mobile communications carriers. However, mobile communications carriers have to pay RMB 0.06 of settlement fees to fixed line...
