AsiaInfo Services 08-19-2003 Rockwell Establishing OEM Application R & D Center in Shenzhen SHENZHEN, Aug 19, 2003 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Rockwell Automation (Rockwell) has established its first OEM application R & D center in Shenzhen City of China. Insiders said that Rockwell would strongly compete for the machine-manufacturing market with Japan-based OMRON Corp.
(OC), Germany-based SIEMENS, and Germany-based SICK, after strengthening its account client market. Sunny Tse, director of marketing and development of Rockwell greater China region, said that the OEM market had become quite mature before OC and SICK entered into China's market.
