AsiaInfo Services 11-11-2003 Regulation on Electronic Waste Management on the Way CHINA, Nov 11, 2003 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China's government is enacting anew regulation on electronic waste management, the ManufacturerExtended Responsibility Principle, which connects electronic waste management with production organically. That is to say, manufacturers are responsible for environmentalpollution caused by their products, and also responsible for waste disposal. "Polluter Pays Principle" means that manufacturers and consumers are all responsible for waste disposal.
