IBM AND NTT INVEST IN CHINA'S VENTURE CAPITAL INDUSTRY

AsiaInfo Services 12-24-2003 IBM and NTT Invest in China's Venture Capital Industry CHINA, Dec 24, 2003 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- On December 15, Gobi Partners, Inc. received an investment of USD 30 million from IBM, Goldbond Group in Hong Kong and NTT DoCoMo in Japan. Gobi Partners, Inc was set up in 2002.

Its headquarters is in Cayman Islands. NTT DoCoMo has invested USD 10 million in Gobi Partners, Inc. The three shareholders will also cooperate with companies that Gobi Partners invests in. "IBM is not just a strategic investor.
