AsiaInfo Services 12-31-2003 Ningbo Bird Made Inroads into Sri Lanka NINGBO, Dec 31, 2003 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Ningbo Bird Co., Ltd. (NBC) debuted its S288 mobile phone in Sri Lanka market. This is the first model of China-made mobile phone that sold inSri Lanka market. It spent less than two months for the mobile phone to be compatible with the local GSM network. The S228 mobile phone weights only 65 grams with complete functions and long life battery.
Moreover, the company will train some Sri Lanka's technicians to provide after-sales services in 2004.
