AsiaInfo Services 01-15-2004 BGOP, PetroChina, and BMP Fight for Lubricant in China CHINA, Jan 15, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- On January 11, 2004, Beijing Guoda Oil Plant (BGOP) signed a lubricant insurance agreement with People's Insurance Company of China (PICC). With the help of PICC, BGOP can successfully put its lubricant products with the Luxin brand into Beijing's market.
The move marks a start that BGOP competes with other two lubricant giants in China, PetroChina Company Limited (PetroChina) and Beijing Monarch Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (BMP).
