AsiaInfo Services 02-09-2004 Information Industry to Become China's Forte BEIJING, Feb 09, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The Chinese Ministry of Information Industry says China plans to make efforts for 10 to15 years to nurture its information industry, which is expectedto become the country's new strength as China does in manufacturing. It is also the MII's goal during China's eleventh Five-Year-Plan period (from 2006 to 2010). The MII has already established a workgroup to draft a detailedplan.
