AsiaInfo Services 02-16-2004 Legend to Change Name to Lenovo Group Limited CHINA, Feb 16, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The board of Legend Group Limited, China's largest PC maker, announces that the Board hasproposed that Legend switch its name "Legend Group Limited " into "Lenovo Group Limited". The Company will hold a board meeting around March 25, to discuss the proposal. Last April, Legend Group unveiled the English brand name Lenovo, because other companies in many countries around the world have already registered the "Legend" name. Legend Group Limited is the largest IT corporation in China.
Its Lenovo PC has been the best-selling PC in China since 1997. Last December, Legend opened a Legend Technology Corridor in China Science and Technology...
