AsiaInfo Services 03-11-2004 Huawei Is among Largest Four Optical Network Giants CHINA, Mar 11, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- According to market statistics, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd (Huawei) has become one of the world's largest four optical network suppliers, or the only Chinese communication equipment company among the largest ten optical network suppliers.
Sales revenue of Huawei reached CNY 31.7 billion (USD 1 = CNY 8.2770) in 2003, up 42% from the corresponding period of the previous year. Sales revenue from overseas market exceeded USD 1 billion, up 90% from the corresponding period of the previous year.
