AsiaInfo Services 03-30-2004 Wing Lung Bank Sets up Shenzhen Branch HONG KONG, Mar 30, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- According to the report of Wen Wei Po, Wing Lung Bank set up a branch in Shenzhen on March 29,which opens a new page for Hong Kong's banking sector under theCEPA framework. Wu Licun, a senior executive of Wing Lung Bank, recalled that the bank was excited after the Mainland China and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (CEPA) was issued at the end of 2003. The board chairman and several senior executives flew to Beijing to submit the application to China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC) for the establishment of branches in the Mainland.
