AsiaInfo Services 04-08-2004 China's Mobile Carriers Test PTT Mobile Phone Networks BEIJING, Apr 08, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Sun You'an, vice general manager of Kyocera Corporation (Kyocera), says that Kyocera is the first maker to have rolled out push-to-talk (PTT) mobile phonesin China. Sun also says that Kyocera, a Sino-Japanese mobile phone maker,has two types of PTT mobile phones, which are the only ones to support China Unicom's PTT network in China. China Mobile, the country's biggest mobile carrier, has tested the PTT mobile phone network in Provinces of Guangdong, Hunan and Sichuan.
