AsiaInfo Services 06-22-2004 SAIC Rejects Ericsson to Register Bluetooth as Trademark BEIJING, Jun 22, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The State Administration of Industry and Commerce of China (SAIC) rejected Ericsson's application for registering bluetooth as a trademark of the company. Ericsson, a famous cellphone maker and a leader in bluetooth technology application area, has applied the Bluetooth technology on mobile telecommunication field and produced out bluetooth cellphone.
The company previously submitted an application to SAIC for register bluetooth as a trademark of it. Bluetoth SIG, Inc. accepted the application transfer from Ericsson and sued SAIC to the court for the determination. However, the First Intermediate People's Court of Beijing...
