AsiaInfo Services 06-24-2004 Hitachi Global to Build Hard Disk Drive Production Base SHENZHEN, Jun 24, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Hitachi Global Storage Technologies,a leading hard disk drive maker in Japan, will invest USD 500 million to build a plant for hard disk drive production in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. Nowadays, Shenzhen is an important production base for PCs, notebook computers and hard disk drives etc in China, even around the world. Li Hongzhong, mayor of Shenzhen City, said that the government would continue to provide good services for Hitachi Global.
