AsiaInfo Services 08-06-2004 SAIC Cracks Down On Multi-level Marketing CHINA, Aug 06, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- SinoCast - The State Administration for Industry & Commerce (SAIC) says that China will severely crack down on multi-level marketing organizations and disguised multi-level marketing. Some foreign enterprises and some home illegal organizations engage in multi-level marketing in many forms including propaganda over the Internet, which not only deceives and endangers a lot of people especially innocent undergraduates, but also disturb the peace and economic development. In 2003, China's administrations of industry and commerce cracked down on 2,253 cases of multi-level marketing and disguised multi-level marketing.
