SKYWORTH JOINS HANDS WITH EPSON ON LCD PTVS

AsiaInfo Services 09-06-2004 Skyworth Joins Hands with Epson on LCD PTVs BEIJING, Sep 06, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Skyworth Group Company Limited(Skyworth), one of China's largest color TV makers, entered partnership with Seiko Epson Corporation, a Japan-based large conglomerate, on September 2.
The two parties will join hands in developing the Chinese market of liquid crystal display rear-projection TVs (LCD PTV). Skyworth expressed that it would cooperate with Epson in the development of LCD PTVs, instead of capital. But Skyworth and Epson declined to reveal more details about their cooperation.
