AsiaInfo Services 09-14-2004 Philips Expands Olympics Ticket Chip Market BEIJING, Sep 14, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Royal Philips Electronics, one of the world's biggest electronics companies and Europe's largest, has reached an agreement with Beijing Municipal Administration and Communications Card Co., Ltd.
(BMAC) recently. According to the agreement, Philips will offer contactless chip technology to a new e-ticketing system for theGreat Wall of China in Badaling. This new e-ticketing system will be compatible to the existing e-ticketing system in Beijing City.
