AsiaInfo Services 09-27-2004 Morgan Stanley Warns China of Housing Bubble Burst BEIJING, Sep 27, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Andy Xie, an authoritative analyst in Morgen Stanley Asia-Pacific Region, said that Chinese real estate industry is likely to undergo a large-scalereconstruction in a research paper. Andy Xie even warned that a new round of capital speculation might lead to the burst of real estate bubble. He said that China's deflation policy didn't work much and investment still remains overheated, therefore, any further deflation like interest rate increase may bring large-scale reconstruction to Chinese real estate market and China is likely to increase the interest rate at the end of 2004.
