AsiaInfo Services 09-28-2004 SAFE Posts Two New QFIIs' Investment Quotas BEIJING, Sep 28, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The State Administration of Foreign Exchange of China (SAFE) announced the investment quotas of France-based Societe Generale and Holland-based ABN AMRO Bank NV respectively on September 23, 2004.
The two investment banks attained the QFII licenses from the China Securities Regulatory Commission *CSRC) at the beginning of September. In particular, Societe Generale got an investment quota of USD 50 million while ABN AMRO Bank NV got a quota reaching USD 75 million from SAFE.
