AsiaInfo Services 10-19-2004 ABN Amro to Enter China Futures Market CHINA, Oct 19, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- ABN Amro will reach an agreement with China Galaxy Securities, China's largest securities firm, to make ABN Amro the first foreign company to enter China's futures market. The two parties have arrived at the final stage of the negotiation about establishing a joint venture next year to trade futures for offsetting stocks, bonds, and commodity pricerisk. In the business fields like investment bank, stock transaction,and assets management, international companies have always beeninterested in establishing joint ventures with Chinese businesspartner.
