AsiaInfo Services 10-24-2004 China Telecom to Cooperate with Meteorological Administration CHINA, Oct 18, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China Telecom signed a strategic cooperation memorandum with China Meteorological Administrationon October 10. The two sides would cooperate in the fields of communication service, and information resources utilization. They would be engaged in improving the application of meteorological information service and the quality of communication service through integrating the network and information resources. According to the memorandum, China Telecom would assist the meteorological departments at all levels to try to enhance the meteorological forecast to prevent disaster and reduce influence through every communication means. ...
