AsiaInfo Services 11-02-2004 Wal-Mart Urged to Set Up Trade Union in Beijing BEIJING, Nov 02, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Beijing Trade Union stated thatforeign-funded companies should establish trade unions, and the trade unions at municipal and district levels in Beijing should urge foreign-funded companies to set up trade unions. Recently, the National People's Congress (NPC) found many foreign-funded companies, such as Wal-Mart, didn't organize trade unions.
