AsiaInfo Services 11-12-2004 Ford Exports New Maverick MPV to China CHINA, Nov 12, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Ford Motor Corp., the US second largest automaker, has started to export its new generation of Maverick sports utility vehicles to the Chinese market at the end of October. Ford has improved the SUV's engine system, interior and exterior decoration, and safety devices.
It is priced at CNY 288,000 (or USD 34,850) per unit, close to the price in the US market through 180 Ford dealers in China. The first generation of Maverick was launched into China in July 2003, and priced atmore than CNY 410,000 (or USD 51,800) then.
