HP CHINA DENIED RECENT JOB CUT

AsiaInfo Services 11-26-2004 HP China Denied Recent Job Cut CHINA, Nov 26, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Hewlett-Packard's job-cut to be taken place at the first half of 2005 would use about USD200 million and involve every division, reported overseas media on November 23. HP China said on November 24 that its head office submitted a report on readjusting the staff number to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), but it doesn't mean that HP plans tocut jobs recently.
