AsiaInfo Services 12-03-2004 Japan's Fourth Biggest Property Insurer to Expand Business in China TIANJIN, Dec 03, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Aioi Insurance Co., Ltd. (Aioi Insurance), the fourth biggest property insurance company in Japan, will present its application to China for a property insurance branch to be built in Tianjin. Automobile insurance business accounts for 70% of the Aioi Insurance's total business.
Japan-based Honda Motor Co. Ltd. (Honda Motor) takes 33.4% stake in it, also the biggest shareholder of it. The property insurance branch of Aioi Insurance is likely to be set up next year.
