AsiaInfo Services 12-15-2004 Great Wall, IBM Name New Joint Venture SHENZHEN, Dec 15, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China's biggest computer maker Lenovo had accomplished the job of acquiring global PC business from the US-based IBM. What is more, it is widespread that China's another computer maker Great Wall joined forces with IBM to build server manufacturing base, a joint venture co-established by the two parties.
The news has aroused extensive concern from various media. Reliable sources confirmed that the two companies will jointly set up the server manufacturing base in Shenzhen, and press conference on the matter is scheduled to be held in the near future.
