AsiaInfo Services 12-16-2004 Carrefour Falls Into Dispute with Wyeth BEIJING, Dec 16, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Carrefour, the world's leadingretailer, fell into dispute with Wyeth, a world leader in pharmaceuticals, consumer health care products and animal health care products, due to the goods supply price. From December 12, Carrefour began to sell its two kinds of milkpowder at the price of CNY 128 and CNY 125 respectively, lower than the supply price and also lower than the lowest price bottom that Wyeth had set for Beijing region.
For this, BeijingOffice of Shanghai Wyeth Nutritional Co., Ltd posted an announcement, which indicated that Carrefour had disordered andgave a bad influence to the whole market, and also violated thelaws for countering unfair...
