AsiaInfo Services 12-29-2004 Lenovo: not to Acquire PC Business of Fujitsu-Siemens HONGKONG, Dec 29, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Rampant talks said that China's largest computer maker Lenovo would acquire the PC business of Fujitsu-Siemens. Sources aired that Lenovo does not intend to make another acquisition because it has just acquired PC business from IBM. Earlier, some media reported that the company will start negotiations with Fujitsu-Siemens, and then it would turn out to be a powerful supplier if they reach agreement on acquisition.
However, the two parties have denied the rumor. Last Saturday, Lenovo clarified that they did not want to acquire Fujitsu Siemens Computers, but the most important task for them is to operate the acquired PC business...
