AsiaInfo Services 01-13-2005 Huawei Launches Global Expansion Program SHENZHEN, Jan 13, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd, China's largest telecommunications equipment maker, formally launched the ambitious global expansion strategy on January 11,2005, aiming to increase the overseas sales from USD2.28bn in 2004 to over USD10bn by 2008. Huawei has won more and more contracts outside of Chinese market with lower prices and competitive products in the past few years.
