AsiaInfo Services 01-17-2005 Axalto Delivers Global 1st Dual-mode Smart Card to China Unicom BEIJING, Jan 17, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The world leading provider of microprocessor cards Axalto has recently announced successful delivery of dual-mode Simera Airflex card to China Unicom, helping promotion of the latter's "World Wind" service. As the largest CDMA network carrier on the globe, China Unicom had rolled out the new high-end service brand - World Wind in August last year. World Wind is the first dual mode service to be available in the world.
