AsiaInfo Services 01-17-2005 Philips Denies OEM Order Withdrawal from Mainland China BEIJING, Jan 17, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Recently, rumor said that the world famous electronics maker Philips had withdrawn OEM orderson DVD players from mainland China. However, sources from the company said it is not true, and added that Philips will not and did not intend to transfer the OEM orders to the companies outside China.
On the contrary, thecompany will continue to seek more OEM partners for manufacturing the product in the country.
