EUROPEAN NYLON PRODUCERS TO INVEST IN CHINA

AsiaInfo Services 01-24-2005 European Nylon Producers to Invest in China CHINA, Jan 24, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Two European Nylon producers, Rhodia of France and Rodici of Italy, plan to produce PA mixed materials in China, because they have no production facilities there yet. Rhodia will put the 40kt/a PA6 and PA66 facilities into operation in Shanghai in November, 2005 as Jean Clauds Steinmetz, the chief executive officer of engineering and plastic company in Rhodia, forecasts that the average growth rate per annum of market demand will be over 20% in China. Meanwhile, Radici will build up two or three production lines of mixed materials.
