AsiaInfo Services 02-07-2005 Panasonic Sets up Its Cordless Phone Producing Base in China DALIAN, Feb 07, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Recently, Panasonic (China) unveiled that its solely-invested company Panasonic Communications (Dalian) Co., Ltd. has been set up in Dalian Economic and Technological Development Area. Registered capital in the new company has topped JPY 2.2 billion (USD 1 = JPY 104.162) and overall investment in it has notched up to JPY 5.5 billion. In the light of sources, the new company will mainly engage in manufacturing and selling of cordless phones, CD-drives and digital multifunction all-in-one machines.
