AsiaInfo Services 02-17-2005 China Unicom's BREW Service User Base Reached 1mn BEIJING, Feb 17, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The US Qualcomm has recently announced that active users of China Unicom's BREW services hadreached 1 million by December of last year. CDMA BREW service is an end-to-end system platform provided by Qualcomm, and it connects all members of value chain of wireless industry. At present, users of the Chinese mobile carrier can enjoy various services, such as mobile banking, mobile TV, ringtone download and 3D games, through BREW platform. There are more than 50 different kinds of mobile phones supporting BREW services, and over 200 domestic BREW developersprovide 800 more BREW-based applications.
